Atomic batteries to power. Turbines to speed. The Batmobile documentary is ready to move out.
Yep. Warner Bros has announced that it'll be releasing a film that charts the history and social relevance of Bruce Wayne's second best gadget (after Shark Repellant Bat Spray, naturally).
There'll be interviews with Batman movie directors like Chris Nolan, Joel Schumacher and Tim Burton. Notable Batmen, Christian Bale and Adam West also share their thoughts on working with the car.
It'll also look at the Batmobile's evolution from the 1939 comics and 1992 animated series to the real-life vehicles produced for the movies. Stunt drivers tell you what it's like to drive them and their creators tell you what it's like to build them. It all looks rather good.
If you weren't at this year's Comic-Con (and you probably weren't), then you'll have missed an exclusive preview, but for now there's this snazzy little trailer from the makers before its release later in the year.
Anyone think this looks just a bit smashing?
